For sale is a VERY rare and collectible Brooks Brothers Black Fleece Macintosh’s Pea Coat designed by Thom Browne in pristine condition.

This is NWOT, including spare buttons, and was designed for the FIRST collections which were introduced in 2007.

The first collections were characterized by insanely expensive prices and utilization of the best workmanship.

Unlike later collections, this jacket was made in Italy and retailed for $1200, 16 years ago. ( that wound be about $2500 in today’s dollars)

The material is 100 cotton and is a bonded material similar to a Macintosh ( without the taped seams) . The jacket does show wrinkles ( shown in picture 7) but this is not a defect but rather the nature of the product.

It is nearly impossible to find pieces from the early releases of the Black Fleece line, all the more so ones that are in perfect condition with all tags intact.

The size is BB2 which translates to a slim medium. With approximately 20.5 from pit to pit, this would best fit a US 38z

As much as piece of fashion history as it is wearable, this jacket has all of the hallmarks ( locker loops, beautiful materials and a very modern cut) that made Thom Browne’s early designs so famous.

Ironically, the price point was so high on the first few BBBF collections that they had to later downgrade materials and begin producing the products outside of Europe’s
