By the numbers, the Carbon Limited Edition Z06 was the most rare of all the C6 Corvette variants – including the ZR1s. A total of only 252 were built with two available colors being Inferno Orange Metallic (85 built) and Supersonic Blue Metallic (166 built). Of the 252 built, only 34 were originally sold to Canada with the Z49 option code (12 Inferno Orange and 22 Supersonic Blue). This particular Inferno Orange Carbon Z06 was one of the original 12 cars delivered to Canada and was sold new from Nicholson Chevrolet in Alberta.

The Carbon limited edition Z06 boasts Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with specific dark gray metallic calipers, Black 20-spoke 19 inch front / 20 inch rear wheels, and magnetic selective ride control. Cosmetically, black headlamps and mirrors, ZR1 style body color spoiler, body color door handles, carbon fiber raised hood, and black carbon fiber rockers and front chin splitter, and a European-style racing number “11” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Corvette Le Mans entry. The cabin features power-adjustable and heated bucket seats upholstered in Ebony leather with matching suede microfiber inserts and orange stitching that extends to the steering wheel, shifter, parking brake, door panels and Carbon Edition doorsill plates and headrest insignias.
