BUY IT NOW price is $7600 CASH, no checks, and that is a 100% FIRM, bottom dollar number. $250 nonrefundable deposit required, and tractor can either be picked up or shipped once a cashier's check clears my bank. Or the deposit, plus remaining amount as cash-in-hand at pick up always works :). No problem shipping, but buyer sets that all up and covers the cost.
Full restoration was performed in 2014-2015, with no expense spared. Details are as follows:
- Machine started as a 621 model, which is the same as a 641 model, but originally without the 3-point hitch. At some point the 3-point hitch was added, which is why I call it a 641. Perhaps we could call it a 641 "clone".
- Engine is fully rebuilt. New sleeves, pistons, crankshaft ground, cylinder head surfaced, and new valves. New governor assembly, and water pump. 100% rebuild with no shortcuts taken. Starts instantly, and runs flawlessly.
- Rare Sherman High-Low transmission was also 100% rebuilt. Machined output shaft, new countershaft, and bearings throughout. Not a cheap rebuild of a rare transmission.
- New clutch and pressure plate
- New fuel tank and fuel level sender (that works)
- 12V Generator conversion. New harness from an 800-Series Diesel and 12V voltage regulator. New battery March 2024. Tract-O-Lite headlights that work.
- New gauges (Proofmeter, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level). Everything works.
- Four brand new tires, four brand new rims, and all have tubes installed. No extra liquid filling was added.
- New brakes and rear axle seals
- Rebuilt steering box and four new tie rod ends
- New king pin bushings, new hub bearings and seals, and front axle and pivot assembly completely rebuilt and reinforced. Front end is good and tight as new throughout!
- New Ford script fenders
- Tractor was 100% taken to bare metal, epoxy primed, and painted. Sheetmetal parts received clear coat
- Will include a nearly-new set of fitted rear tire chains that I used for playing in the snow (once)
- In the pictures you will see the proofmeter cable unhooked. It just snapped and a new one will be installed before the sale. Also, the small clevis holding the LH 3pt arm chain will be in place before the sale. That is literally all the tractor needs.
Selling because we never use it, and would rather it find a good home than just let it set. Over 400 hours or labor was invested in this tractor. You can certainly find one cheaper, but you'll never have one built for this price. Go work it or show it, or both, TODAY. Also, might be interested in trades +/- cash for Fords, or maybe a backhoe. I do have this for sale locally, and will try to delete this listing once sold. Thank you.
