This is lovely shiny synthetic brocade fabric with a dragonfly pattern.

Notes: I do recommend your own laundering or dry cleaning method on vintage or pre-owned items.  Ours is a smoke-free and pet-free home that does not use harsh chemicals or sprays, but vintage items may have been exposed to unknown factors.
