Based on a modified Czechoslovakian Pz 38 (t) tank chassis, the German Jagdpanzer 38 (also known, erroneously, as the Hetzer) was one of the more succesful tank-destroyers of the second world war. It was such an effective design, that it even continued in use after the end of hostilities.

This detailed 1/35 scale model kit from Takom, shows the vehicle as it appeared in Swiss service (built in Czechoslovakia), where it was known as the G13 and was equipped with a StuK 40 gun (as used on later Pz IVs/StuG IIIs and the StuG IV). The Swiss versions also included a muzzle brake, which was absent on the wartime Hetzers.
