Kunst & Ambiente Child Bronze - Boy Riding a Snail - Art Nouveau - Bruno Zach.

The motif of a little Boy Riding a Snail is without a doubt one of Bruno Zach’s most imaginative works. The implementation of this bronze statue convinces mostly by its detailed design of the child on the back of the snail, whereby Zach of course suspends the laws of natural proportions. Delicate textures are complemented with precise details, consequently creating a cute Art Nouveau Statue that stands out with a high amount of details and individuality.

The bronze statue was produced by using the thousand-year-old lost wax technique, a complex process of more than 30 individual steps that lasts several days and is subject to strict quality guidelines. Therefore, we can guarantee you a high standard of quality when you are shopping online for our exclusive Art Nouveau Statues at Bronze Shop.

Bruno Zach was born 6 May 1891 in Ukraine. The artist early on turned his back on his home country and moved to Vienna, where he studied under the guidance of Hans Bitterlich and Josef Mullner. During his time in Vienna, Bruno Zach worked in several foundries across the city, where he created several individual bronze sculptures. Some of the artist’s most popular motives were animals, dancers, Art Deco statues and erotic bronze sculptures. Zach died 20 February 1945 in Vienna, leaving behind his beautiful Art Nouveau Sculptures that are still popular collector’s pieces today.
