  1. This product is used for the interconversion between Car Ethernet network (BASE-T1) and Industrial Ethernet network (BASE-TX) with stable signal quality.
    1000BASE-T1 and 100BASE-T1 have good MDI compatibility with PHYs from Broadcom, NXP, Marvell, Ti and other manufacturers.
    Both 1000BASE-T1 and 100BASE-T1 have polarity auto-identification and speed master-slave auto-negotiation.
    After switching the speed or master-slave mode with a dip switch, the setting will take effect without re-powering up, and the internal controller will automatically restart the link negotiation for both 1000/100BASE-T1 (car side) and 1000/100BASE-TX (RJ-45 side).
    The converter supports DC interface or Type-C interface power supply, also supports the co-existence of the two power supply modes, when the two power supply modes co-exist (at the same time there is a power supply), the converter will automatically select the power supply terminal, there is no power conflict, no crosstalk interference between the two power supply terminals or related concerns.
    Compatible with a wide range of power supply (DC 4.5V-36V), easy to adapt to a variety of debugging scenarios, and widely support the operation of small car car (12V) and large-scale operation of car (24V, 36V) equipment.
    The converter is equipped with a power supply anti-reverse function, avoiding any power supply damage caused by wrong reverse power connection.
    The power supply side uses two-stage TVS protection + LC filter components, effectively avoiding the impact of power fluctuations, easily adapting to the harsh power supply conditions in the vehicle scenario, and effectively responding to the vehicle starter motor load throwing and other interference.
    Professional BASE-T1 interface ESD protection and common mode filtering technology.
    Through the BASE-T1 adaptive channel real-time compensation function, the PHY side will automatically carry out real-time channel compensation for the channel (twisted pair) to achieve the best signal-to-noise ratio performance.
    Using 2.0mm enhanced DC female chassis, aluminium alloy shell, more robust connection.

    The converter is applicable to the ambient temperature range of -45℃~+85℃, which meets the temperature application range of conventional vehicle regulations.

The converter can be functionally preset via dip switches with the settings shown in the table below

 

According to the Car Ethernet standard, BASE-T1 supports MDI auto-polarity switching in auto-negotiation Gigabit mode. In 100 Gigabit mode, when the converter side is in Slave mode, the converter on the Slave side adapts to the Master side connected to it and performs polarity detection and polarity flip, and the initial polarity in the link is determined by the Master side.

This converter has the most complete MDI polarity auto-detection capability.

A: Separate different interfaces is to maintain the best signal quality, if belongs to the same BASE-T1 signal of the two BASE-T1 sockets at the same time to do in the PCBA, will cause one of the interface stakes line is too long (bifurcation), greatly affecting the channel characteristics of the impedance, which reduces the quality of communication and the upper limit of the performance of the PHY on the channel compensation, it is a very non-standard practice!
