circa WW1 Military Silk Embroidered Postcard Style Christmas Card - Souvenir From France Remembrance DESCRIPTION This is a used circa WW1 military silk embroidered postcard style Christmas card as shown. The embroidered text on the front reads "Souvenir From France" The typed text on the front reads "Remembrance" The pre printed text inside reads "My heart sends you with my love my best wishes for a merry Christmas" The signature looks to be Mr E. W. Lowden, the location looks to be "Ervers" Please remember to check out the "Item Specifics" for possible further information. CONDITION I will leave you to decide; please look at the photos carefully. I think the general condition is good used collectable for the age. As you can see in the photos, there are general user, foxing, handling and storage marks etc. At some point there was glue put onto the back of the card, you can still see and feel the old glue on the back. It is not sticky, its dry and hard. Looking good for being over 100 years old ! I am not an expert, large scans / pictures can be sent to assist you.
