Hello Again, friends of great music!    This show, for all you vinyl lovers, and there are a bunch out there judging by the number of you that have responded to my rare and old vinyl radio shows, is a rare vinyl that you will rarely find on eBay.

It is called THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE PRESENTS ROGER CARROLL

and aired on the United States Air Force Record Label

IT WAS A WEEKLY 30 MINUTE SHOW FEATURING ROGER CARROLL, ONE OF LOS ANGELES' MOST POPULAR RADIO PERSONALITIES WHO LENT HIS TALENT TO THE AIR FORCE FOR THIS PROJECT.

ROGER PROVIDED HIS MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE EXPERTISE IN PRESENTING THE BEST MUSIC

THERE WERE NO COMMERICALS BUT A COUPLE OF BRIEF USAF PROMOTIONAL SPOTS.

Roger Carroll became an announcer at WFMD in Frederick, Maryland (age of 15).  At 18, he was hired by ABC in Hollywood and  was at that time the youngest announcer in the network's history. He served as an announcer for 10 years with the network

By December 1958, Carroll had become host of KABC's most outstanding music show. In 1959 he was hired as a disk jockey and radio show host at KMPC in Hollywood which ran for 20 years  and was one of the most popular radio shows in Southern California His work for KMPC included game-day remote broadcasts from stadiums when the Los Angeles Rams and  Angels played home games.

It is a wonderful way to collect songs by your favorite artist or group in a way that is so different from how you would normally find them and that very few people know even exist.

And Roger Carroll made the show fun and entertaining with his banter and musical knowledge.

This show not only aired on commercial stations in the United States to promote the US Air Force but also world wide through the American Forces Radio Network.

THIS IS SERIES #13 AND CONTAINS SHOWS 1-4

IT COMES IN ITS PRESENTATION BOX AND CONTAINS TWO LPs.

SHOW CONTENTS CAN BE SEEN IN THE LISTING PICTURES AND WERE ON THE BACK COVER OF THE ALBUM BOX AND ON EACH LP.

This show is in near mint new condition played only on its date of network national broadcast.    It is a rare find and belongs in your most special collection.

THERE ARE LIKELY FEW LEFT AS MANY STATIONS JUST THREW THEM AWAY AFTER AIRING SINCE THEY COULD NEVER BE AIRED AGAIN AND MOST STATIONS HAD LIMITED STORAGE SPACE.  BELIEVE ME I KNOW - I WORKED AT ONE!!

It is an enthralling show that will captivate you.  You will be disappointed when it is over.

The songs are  listed on the lps themselves as you can see in the listing picture.

Remember, when you buy this show, not only will you own the tunes but the exclusive presentation in this rare lp

It is a piece of radio history and is true Americana.

You just aren't going to find these shows anymore.  Think of what they will be worth in a few years!  (IF you wanted to sell.)  I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price

It is a great show and would be a valuable addition to your collection

Good Luck and God Bless You.
