1968 Honda C50, purchased from an old motorcycle shop in the West midlands, who had in their store room in bits, for over 20 years. The shop assured me it was a UK registered model, but the registration plate was lost during a move. So it had to be re-registered on an age related plate, which is  why  the  date of first registration is  2023.

Because it has been stored indoors, the frame is unusually in very good condition for a UK model. I have included a photo of the frame prior to painting, so you can see there is no deep routed rot, blistering, corrosion- just light surface rust. This frame has not been filled/patched or welded anywhere.

Restoration done-

- 2k paint, colour matched to original factory Turf green paint. Engine cases are also painted in 2K
- Seat base powdercoated and recovered.
- Engine has new piston and barrel kit( original one included in sale), new gaskets and is running on 10w40 MINERAL oil
- Original Downdraught carb has been cleaned and rebuilt.
- wheels rebuilt with new bearings, spokes, rims, tubes, tyre, brake shoes
- MANY MANY new parts( not a full list):tyres, tubes, shoes, cables, footpegs with sidestand, genuine Honda footpeg rubbers, lock set, locking tank cap, shocks, seat cover, side panels, battery, horn, tail light.

This bike is classed as historic and so is mot exempt and you can apply for free road tax. I have the V5C. Also this is  classed as a motorcycle, not a moped, its  taxation class is ' Bicycle' and also its  a 3 speed semi-auto.

Ive seen these listed at prices exceeding 3k...
