Russian Enamel Salt Spoon is was done many years ago, but anyway this spoon still in a good condition in corresponds to regarding its age. The silver is gilt and the whole is covered with fine silver wire work filled in with colorful opaque enamel. The underside is marked with the Russian silver purity mark of 875” purity silver. A great exemplar to add to your collection! The best indication of condition is to study the photographs carefully.
Spoon very attractive, even patina on both sides indicates the authenticity of the product. The details of the bas-relief are perfect and extremely crisp; practically all of the original fire gilt finish is present. A superb example all through. The enamel retains beautiful luster throughout, is essentially perfect, rubbing or any other noticeable wear.

Description:

This is a very lovely high-quality work "Russian Moscow Spoon of using colored enamel and handcrafted technique” with minor wear and age related tarnish.  Handles are straight, slightly bent.  No monograms. Clearly marked on the back of the handle. The spoon have identical marks, though the enamel color patterns vary slightly.  The spoon made of 875" solid silver, 56" plated with gold and with enamel traditional Russian art. Typical Russian enamel ornament in decorative art work. Gilded Spoon with nicely twisted handle.

The bowl - shape spoon, decorated in the form of a picture of the ornament, in the there was a flowering of artistic metalworking (Enamel in silver, deep engraving, filigree, chasing, embossing, and gold and silver inlays in metal), particularly in the production and ornamentation of arms., accented silver gilt coils on a blue ground and waves of olive-green enamel.
