This is an opportunity to bid on this Rocco Design Trinket or Jewellery Box, that I think dates back to around the 1950's. It has been overpainted a few times, the latest attempt is in Gold. I think that the original finish would have been ebonised, with some Gilded Highlights.

I think that it may have been a product of the Syroco Company, in the US.

The Syracuse Ornamental Company, known as Syroco, was an American manufacturing company based in Syracuse, New York. They were best known for their moulded wood-pulp products that resembled hand-carving.

It is all in Good sound condition, the lid sits nicely on it's base.

It measures 17cm Diameter, the space inside is 9.5cm diameter, and 4.5cm deep.
