BEAUTIFUL "CENTENARY EDITION" OF FAUST BY GOETHE.  Published by Cal Albert Kindle, no date of publication seen but others have provided a date of 1924, so I'll assume that as well.  Vellum spine with 6 raised bands, beautiful embossed boards.  Boards and spine with very very light wear.  Burgundy top stain, rough cut fore edges, very solidly bound.  A previous owner inked name on first free endpaper, and similarly on back endpaper, but no further marks.  The book has a lengthy INTRODUCTION BY MAX VAN BOEHN WITH MANY TIPPED B&W ILLUSTRATIONS - see listing photo for examples.  This Intro has 221 pages.  After that is Faust, in BEAUTIFUL BLACK TEXT AND RED SECTION TITLES.
