My movie listings lead with the DIRECTOR: followed by the actual name of the director movie title and the actors. The cast is important but it is the director who lives with all aspects of getting the movie to the big screen by guiding the players, the writers, financiers, and technicians to the point where they have financial success at the box office. The director must be passionate, motivated, and committed, not just directing on the set. I grew up following directors and their output for entertainment. The director often needs to be involved with the writing process to make sense of what is being presented on the screen.

If you are interested in movies then it is quite likely that you use IMDB (Internet Movie Data Base) as a resource to track and find out information about current and upcoming movie titles - it is invaluable.

If you are interested in the poster artwork associated with the movie, if you haven't already done so, then you must check out IMP Awards - it is a remarkable resource where alternative poster styles can be found. I am unable to use the links to direct you to the above sites due to eBays protection policy. I cannot get enough information about movie artists, illustrators, or poster styles.

I need to mention HERITAGE AUCTIONS as a resource - it has been invaluable to me over the years - a true goldmine of information offering a diverse selection within its search engine options. Regular auctions are held and the data is updated continually melding new data with old. They provide accurate information with insightful commentary which has been very satisfying to me.
