For auction is an antique hand-made document box that is dovetailed on all four corners. I'm no expert in wood, but this certainly looks like chestnut to me. I would estimate it dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It measures 14" by 10 3/4" by 9" in height and there is no damage to the box. It does have a complete lock but the key is missing.
