Vintage MOTOROLA 8500x Brick Mobile Cellular Portable Phone with Original Accessories in excellent visual condition but UNTESTED.  The original case is in clean pristine condition, with the velcro and carry handle hardly used.  The only (minor) damage is to the plastic cover to the antennae, which has split in a couple of places - this is easily replaceable and low cost. Please view all photos carefully, as these provide the best visual condition report.

Great talking point! Re-live your Yuppie (or Del Boy) years with this historic monument of vintage telephony.

I believe the  Motorola 8500X was released in 1989 and was a revised version of the original 8000x, the iconic first hand-held phone in the UK. The first mobile phone call in the UK was in 1987, so this phone is from only the second year of mobile phone use in the UK. And now that's over 30 years ago...

Complete with original accessories, this package includes:

Phone
Battery
Spare Battery
Battery Eliminator Model MBE-100
Antennae
User Manual (in original protective case)

A great addition to your collection and perfect for a museum or collector's display.

Other vintage mobile phones and accessories listed separately.  Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases where cost-effective for the buyer.
