Description

Attention Beta Fans!  I'll be ending my listings early, usually about 3-5 hours before they're supposed to renew.
OMG!  I found another crate of Betamax films!  There are about 30 of them.  I'll be selling a few with just the case, no tape (unless you want the tape, let me know) as the magnetic tape has developed mold.

HARD COVER, NO CASE
There are about 30 Betamax films that are in theses opac hard brown plastic cases, no covers.  Some of the labels are falling off, in some cases the clear plastic window has been scratched somewhat and I tried to take the best pictures possible.  Please study the photos carefully because what you see is what you'll get, they'll be no returns on these tapes.    If you purchase more than one tape, request an invoice so I cam combine shipping.  Look me up on Facebook under Morrkane Shirts and Collectibles for more information.

My family has a huge media collection.  Since the early 80s, when my Dad purchased his first video player, our collection had grown by leaps and bounds.  My Dad, a huge film buff who collected films initially on 16mm film, purchased tapes, first on Betamax, then VHS, Laserdisc and finally on DVD.  With the Beta tapes, he purchased after market tape cases, carefully cut the original box, then inserted the box into the case's sleeve.  I know that some collectors will not appreciate this, but my Dad wanted to preserve his collection as best he could.

My parents are gone now, siblings have moved away but the collection is still complete, on the custom built-in shelving units that my brother designed and installed.  Now, I'm in the process of de-cluttering the house, getting rid of items I've not used or needed in years.

These films have not been played in years.  I have no working betamax machine to determine their playability.  They have been stored vertically and are still tightly wound, as you can see in the photo.  In an effort to allay any future claims of "item not as described", I will list these films as in "Good" condition.  You can be the judge, as I've photographed the case of the film, and the tape itself.  Please examine the photos carefully as what you see is what you'll get.

Of course, shipping within the continental US is via Media mail or First Class postage, whichever is cheaper.  I do have a one day handling policy, but I do work, so I try to get it to the post office within 24 hours of payment, (except weekends and holidays).  Tracking information will be sent to you via email when the mailing label is generated.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
