For sale is my rare 2014 Fender USA ‘Channel Bound’ American Standard Telecaster electric guitar, in Dakota Red gloss finish, with a satin finished maple neck with inset RW fingerboard and chrome hardware.

The guitar also comes complete with its original ‘TSA’ type hard shell case (with no key!).

This was a ‘one year only’ model for this first original run with the special neck.

This is a lovely, professional grade guitar, easily as good as any other Fender I’ve owned / played.

This item is in generally very good used condition, but the red finish has ‘sunk’ into the woodgrain and joins of the body somewhat - I have tried to take photos of this but it’s difficult to capture! There are a few small pressure indentations too, but they don’t break the finish.

There’s a very small ding on the lower edge, one on the fingerboard/channel bound edge and some micro scratches etc on the sides and back - I have tried to take photos of these areas.

I have just given the frets a quick clean and polish, and also lemon oiled the fingerboard - there is very little play wear, but there was some hardware tarnishing on the frets (now removed!) and the nickel saddles and screws have some too, plus there is some normal pick marks and scratching on the pickguard, as shown.

The case is also in very good used condition with some normal light marks / wear and tear.
