A charming little sewing kit in a red velvet purse, complete with metal clasp and ring carry handle. I think it is early to mid 20th century. The velvet is worn in places, especially round the edges. Inside, the cloth needle pad is grubby and there is a tear to the paper sleeve which holds the mirror. The mirror has some tarnish and light scratches. One thimble holder is worn and patched. The needle packets each have a couple of needles in and are a bit scruffy. A rare survivor!
