Postmodernist master Michael Graves devised this 9097 Sugar Bowl. Designed in 1988 and made from stainless steel, the bowl includes a lid and a spoon. For this Sugar Bowl, Graves employed his Postmodernist visual language: the design combines influences from European and American Pop art, and pre-Columbian cultures. Both Michael Graves and the design’s manufacturer, Alessi, have work in MoMA’s collection. Made in Italy, the 9097 Sugar Bowl can be used to hold your favorite types of sugar, from white to brown, granulated to coarse. It measures 3.2h x 4"diam.
