This vintage tripod from Folmer & Schwing is a piece of American history, marked with the US Engr. Dept. Eastman Kodiak logo from 1914. Built from high-quality wood, this adjustable leg tripod stands at a maximum height of 41.5 inches when the legs are extended. Approximately 28.5inches when legs are closed together. Comes with box. Does not include the top piece that the legs connect into. Last photo is stock photo of what it would look like.

1 leg is stamped “ US Engr. Dept. MFD by Burke & Jas Inc Chicago ILL. USA.


All three legs have stamp “DK”


All of the legs have scratches but all of the wood is solid with no splinters. All of the knobs are intact for adjustable legs. Brass needle point at bottom of legs.


Comes with wood tung and groove storage box. The box has not dates or markings. Some screws are missing (pictured).


Overall in very good shape for being 110yrs old.
