One of my most favorite finds over 15 years ago in Franklin, TN. I thought it was a mourning ring for years but after more research, appears to be a wedding ring. This ring a Size 6, 14k yellow gold Double Wedding Ring Victorian Engraved “Mary T Prewett Dec 19, 1833, J.N. Walton”. It is in excellent used condition. The ring comes apart, a bit like a puzzle to get back as one, but still attached and is engraved on the inside of each ring. This is an Extremely RARE ring! Zoom in on photos to read engraving. The only other ring I have seen like this one, is one Alexander Hamilton gave to Eliza Hamilton in 1780.
