So, I have this for sale; 2001 discovery td5 GS. No MOT. Runs drives does what it should. Loads of paperwork with it. Interior is good, original. Good bits, recent new front wheel bearings, injector seals, nearly new Halfords battery with guarantee. Bad bits, two rear dickie seats removed. I think the compressor died as it kept blowing fuses, so I disconnected the airbags and fitted them with Schrader valves that are arranged to the towbar should they need blowing up (they have,not yet!)xyz switch plays up now and then, I would put that on my list if I was you, also, handbrake innefective, due to oil leak, new seals bought plus new shoes. (Also new disc backplates as they were rusty) Underneath looks scruffy but solid,) BUT it would make sense to do your own inspection. In with the sale, is a lynx diagnostic unit, I've had al of them, and I find this the best. The price is £1000. Reason for sale, I have medical stuff to go through, and won't be able to touch this again until sept/Oct, when it will be cold and dark again. Car is in Essex, near to Dartford crossing.
