c.19th Century, (late Qing Dynasty). 

Imperfect, but beautifully painted in 'fat' overglaze polychrome enamels on to a lovely celadon green ground. An arrangement of flowers, leaves, birds and colourful insects. 

Some gilt wears along the rims. One plate with a hairline. The other on the back seems a line under glaze but not a damage 

Despite the imperfections the pair remain very pretty plate.
