If this sensor detects a difference, it sends a message to the controller telling it to engage the ABS and overrides your manual braking.

1.How to clean an ABS sensor?
- Locate the ABS sensor along the body of the wheel hub.
- Remove the bolt covering the ABS sensor with an Allen wrench and wiggle the ABS sensor loose with a pair of pliers.
- Wipe dirt and debris off the sensor with a clean, dry microfiber towel.
- Replace the bolt and twist it to secure the sensor in place.
- Reposition the wheel and screw the lug nuts back in place.
2.How to replace an ABS speed sensor?
- Locate the correct ABS sensor.
- Remove the speed sensor.
- Clean the sensor mounting hole and tone ring.
- Insert the sensor into its mounting hole.
