This allows the barrier / adhesive wound dressing to better adhere to the skin
so that the skin can heal. The powder should only be used when skin is moist.
Hollister Karaya Powder creates a sticky gel around irritated skin with all-natural
Karaya hydrocolloid.
Protects
raw and weeping skin by creating a sticky gel; Karaya, a natural hydrocolloid,
has unique skin care properties.
Use
sparingly to absorb moisture or exudates from skin prior to placing a skin
barrier on peristomal skin.
Apply powder after skin washed and thoroughly dried. Brush off excess powder
before applying skin barrier. Broken or irritated skin should be evaluated by a
healthcare professional.
