>>> Just had a question from a prospective buyer about using "KeySavvy." It's an escrow service but they are also registered dealers so going through them may allow buyers to receive the $4000 used EV tax credit. Buyers should check it out at  https://www.keysavvy.com/. I'd be open to using this service. <<<

PRICE REDUCED FOR THE LAST TIME !!! Unless I receive a reasonable offer I'll keep the car in storage, maybe sell when gas prices spike again (and they will). Thanks for looking.

2016 Tesla S70
Under 71,500 miles, low for this vintage
Very Good Condition, Clean title

No accidents, 1 previous owner before I purchased the car from Tesla (CPO)

Kelly, Edmunds, CarFax private party sale values for this year/model are in the range of $20,000-26,000.

I'm reluctantly selling this car because I bought a new Model 3 that better suits my needs. The Model S is larger and more luxurious and I hate to see it go but it doesn't make sense for me to keep both.

I purchased the certified pre-owned Model S directly from Tesla in 2019. It came with a full warranty that expired last year. At that time I had Tesla check the car for any issues and had an independent shop do the same, and then performed the small amount of maintenance recommended. The 8 year battery and drive train warranty expires this month. Tesla says the batteries are expected to provide service for 300,000 miles or more.

From the invoice when I bought the car:

All Glass Panoramic (Sun) Roof
19" Silver Cyclone Wheels
Black Next Generation Seats

Black Alcantara Headliner

Options:
Midnight Silver Metallic Paint***, Power panoramic sunroof (no longer available), 19" Silver Cyclone Wheels, Black Next Generation Seats, Obeche Wood Matte Decor, Black Headliner, Autopilot with Convenience Features (later renamed "Highway Autopilot") [autopark, auto lane change, and summon**] , Premium Interior Package.

These cars require virtually no maintenance. In five years of ownership (nearly 40,000 miles) I replaced the windshield wipers and 2 of the tires. No gas, no oil changes, no scheduled maintenance or repairs. Tesla replaced the aging 12 V battery and a faulty main display, sent regular software updates, and upgraded the display processor that had a known bug, all at no charge.
Included with the car are a mobile charging connector with adapters (I use it to charge the car at home), front and rear floor mats, the rear cargo cover, two key fobs, and the following aftermarket accessories:

Accessories I purchased that are also included with the car:
Console insert (with compartments and drink holders)
Storage drawer
Textured DashMat to protect the leather/suede dash materials. I remove it in the winter.
Panoramic sunroof shades (purchased from Tesla) to keep the heat down in the summer
Carbon fiber "Model S" door sill covers
Vinyl wrap***

The exterior of the vehicle is in great shape and it has been washed regularly and garaged as long as I've owned it. Paint as I remember it is perfect. The midnight grey metallic paint was covered with a vinyl wrap in 2022. It is also in good shape except for the inevitable small rock chips. The vinyl tends to protect the underlying paint from this damage. I have several pieces of left-over vinyl that can be used to hide any large (or small) imperfections.

I'm told it is a simple matter to remove the vinyl coating if you want to go back to the original finish, or to install another wrap. There are YouTube videos about this, but a professional will do the job if you are not up to it. The installer who did my wrap says his minimum charge is $300 which he is sure would cover the removal on this car since he knows he installed it correctly using quality 3M vinyl and the car has not had significant sun exposure.

Other benefits:
- Lifetime premium connectivity**** with no monthly fee. Save $100s.
- Tesla continually sends software updates to add or improve features.
- Buyers purchasing a used vehicle in Arizona from a private party are not required to pay sales tax, which would be a savings of about $1000.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING:
Payment required is by cashier's check OR if preferred through ebay's recommended escrow service escrow.com which uses electronic payments (ACH) or wire transfers from the buyer into an independent escrow account and from escrow to the seller. I haven't used this before but it seems to be the easiest and safest method of completing the transaction, protecting both buyer and seller. The cost is reasonable, and if the buyer desires we can use this service and split the fee. Further information is available through ebay or by visiting escrow.com.

This is a local sale only, any shipping must be arranged and paid for by the buyer.

Please let me know if you would like to see the car, have any questions, or need further details. Thanks for looking.

NOTES:
*It is normal for EVs to slowly lose range, usually 1-2% per year. In accordance with Tesla's recommendations I never charge to 100%, but the 80% daily charging I do indicates the range on this car is now about 215 miles.

** These features are available with Tesla's current Enhanced Autopilot which sells for $6,000, or a $100 per month subscription.

*** I liked the look of the original dark grey metallic paint but it was kind of hot in the Tucson sun. The wrap cooled things down and compliments the dark glass, chrome, silver wheels and the new carbon fiber pattern on the nose cone. Overall I think it greatly enhances the the car's appearance and gives it a unique look, but opinions can vary. The 3M 1080 color is Gloss White Aluminum G120. The nose cone has a two-tone textured 3M wrap in Carbon Fiber Anthracite CFS201 that matches the main body color and downplays the bulbous nose.

**** Premium connectivity provides cellular access for real-time traffic updates and music streaming. Normally the access fee is $10 per month or $100 per year.
