Based off the popular EMG 81, the 81-8XH utilizes powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils along with the X preamp to produce even more detailed tone with incredible high end cut, headroom, and dynamic control. Traditionally used in the bridge position of your eight string guitar, this pickup will make your leads and low strings slice right through even the densest mix. This humbucker is available in chrome, brushed chrome, gold, brushed gold, black chrome, and brushed black chrome. EMG's solderless wiring makes installing your guitar pickups easier than ever.
