This vintage Japanese electric guitar, the Kingston Sorrento, is a rare gem for any musician or collector. With a semi-hollow body and honey burst finish, this 1960 model boasts 20 frets and a 6 string configuration for a range of sounds. The right-handed guitar is branded with Kingston and is perfect for any lover of guitars and basses. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, this instrument is sure to impress.

Ok - I picked this up and really not sure what it is - it looks like a Kingston and it also looks like a Sorrento - both made in Japan. Years ago guitars built in Japan where like it is now built in China.
This is an item - 60 year. It actual plays and doesn't sound half bad. I did not touch any wiring - because it is working..I think it is missing a switch.. because there is a hold - but i did not mess with it. I think both pickups work all the time and there is a volume and a tone knob.

It has finish cracks everywhere...that makes it look vintage the neck looks straight and there is no buzzing on any fret. I did not touch the truss rod..again it is straight and there is not buzzing and the action is pretty good. You will have to set it up yourself the way you like it.

I put new strings on  9's and wiped it down no deep cleaning
