This is a beautiful Antique Japanese Imari oval footed bowl or plate.
I believe it is from the 19th Century.
It is made of porcelain pottery.
The scenes on the top are of landscapes, birds and flowers.
On the underside there are flowers and bats.
There are blue lines painted around the base -- three lines outside of base and one inside the base.
The measurements are 11 1/4" by 9 3/8" and 1 3/4" tall.
There are no cracks, chips or breaks.  There is some wear to the painted gold around bowl rim edge.
Please see the photos and email me with any questions.
