・This device enables high-quality HD video recording and achieves a maximum recording time of 124 minutes with L cassettes and 40 minutes with S cassettes (both at 59.94 field recording).

・It comes equipped with a down-converter output function, allowing for the output of 480/59.94 field video signals via SD-SDI or analog composite during HDCAM (59.94 field recording tape) playback.

・It features pre-read editing, audio crossfade function, DT playback function (from -1 to +2 times speed), and jog/shuttle operation.

・By adopting a new platform with revised circuit design, it reduces power consumption by approximately 30% compared to the HDW-2000 series, achieving significant power savings.

・It comes standard with a user-friendly control panel featuring a 4.3-inch LCD color display.

Operation Check

・The version was SY1: V2.23, SV: V6.44, SY: V2.18. 

・Basic functions such as recording, playback, tape operation, and HD-SDI output were confirmed using HDCAM tapes. 

・Recording and playback with HDCAM tapes were successful without any issues. 

・SDI audio embedding is also functioning properly. 

・The condition lamp remains green, indicating normal operation. 

・No optional features were installed, so i.Link and similar functions were unavailable. 

・Both the PB CH CONDITION (playback) and REC CH CONDITION (recording) in check mode show ALL GRN (all green). 

・The LCD screen displays colors and contrast excellently without any pixel defects. 

・The jog/shuttle switch operates smoothly. 

・There is one maintenance record [see photo 10].
