DOLGELLAU, WALES (c.1880) - Photographic Glass Slide

A Photographic Glass Slide (Magic Lantern). I would guess the date is around 1880.

The view is looking across the town of DOLGELLAU  in Snowdonia, Wales.

The school in the foreground was demolished around the 1950s I think.

The old jail at Bodlondeb is still there with it’s high walls (top right).

The slide is 82mm square (2.75 x 2.75 inches).
