Vintage Victorian style silver plated bride's basket or possible graduation gift with beautifully detailed filigree cutouts. Dated 1919. In great condition, has very minimal wear from normal use.
It has a stamp inside that I believe reads as "ERJE" but I am not certain. This is silver plated, not pure silver!
The handle moves forward and backward, not stationary. The inside where the flowers go, has some blemishes.
R.C.I stands for Renfrew Collegiate Institute, a high school in Renfrew, Ontario.
That is why I am presuming that this piece was a graduation gift.

- Top of handle to base = 25 cm.
- Width across = 12.5 cm.
- Depth inside = 10 cm.
- Width inside across = 7 cm.
- Base to bottom = 13 cm.
