This is the µMACS™ Separator with a MACS® MultiStand. It is designed for molecular biology and protein biochemistry applications. The µMACS Separator is used in combination with µ Columns and MACS MicroBeads. It is designed for fast and easy separation of biomolecules such as RNA or proteins using µ Columns and MACS MicroBeads. The separator contains a powerful permanent magnet that induces a high-gradient magnetic field within the µ Column, a field strong enough to retain target molecules that are magnetically labeled with the extremely small MACS MicroBeads.
