Tracy Chapman "Tracy Chapman" UK 12" vinyl album 1988.  Released on Elektra Records, catalogue number EKT 44.  Tracy had one of the most refreshing sounds of the 80's. It is a sound that is hard to pigeonhole, which is why this stands as her best work.  Her debut album, this rose to the coveted number one position in the UK for 3 weeks and spawned 3 excellent singles, though 'Fast Car' was the only one that charted of any note, making number 4 in the UK.  The 11 gems within are; "Talkin' bout a revolution", "Fast Car", "Across the lines", "Behind the wall", "Baby can I hold you", "Mountains o' things", "She's got her ticket", "Why?", "For my lover", "If not now....." and "For You". Superb music, superb musician.  Condition s good/very good with some very feint surface scuffing but nothing affecting play and sound quality.
