This statue came from a recent Honolulu estate. It is a fine example of an vintage bronze Buddha statue. The statue is clearly an original & genuine – a lovely rustic piece. This depiction of the Buddha has him seated cross-legged on a high pedestal with his right hands in bhumisparshamudra, his left resting on his lap. A solidly cast piece; weighty yet appears to be hollow. 50% of the gilt has worn off leaving a attractive aged patina. Please see photos for details.

Packing material: I charge you my costs for all packing materials used. However, this is Hawaii and not the continental US, and everything has to be shipped in from out of state. To give you an idea, a shipping box, if it is not a free one from the Post Office, costs between $4 - $9. Bubble wrap costs $1 per foot and I usually use at least 3 or 4 feet or more for breakable items. Foam chips per box (book box size) will be between $8 - $10, and packing tape costs me $3 a small roll.
