Antique, circa 1900's Sorento Puzzle Box Inkwell.
Travel inkwell in the style of books. The top represents a book with inlaid swallow and lettering.
The books move to the right to release the lid.
Approx 65mm x 65mm x 50mm
In good condition, there is a small amount of ink stain on the red cloth lining (see photo) and the glass inkwell is stained with ink but this may well wash off.
I used this inkwell myself in the late 1950's and early 1960's.
