3 or 5 ready made ronnie rigs, a rig made famous by the likes of Korda anglers (who call it a spinner rig) catching so many big fish around the world. This rig was one of the best kept secrets in angling for many years. Made with care and attention you can be assured of high quality rigs every time.

The ronnie rig is so popular due to how effective it is when fishing with a pop up, the special Ronnie swivel used allowed 360 degree movement so when a fish sucks in your bait the hook can move to the optimum position to give a very strong hold. Made using a stiff boom this rig is also anti tangle and self resetting, if you are unfortunate to get an  aborted take you can rest easy knowing the rig is sitting just right to continue fishing.
 
When using a pop up you should test the rig in a test tank or margin to make sure the rig is working correctly, it should fall slowly through the water and sit on top of any debris that might be on the bottom. The hook section should sit up right, depending on your pop up you may need to add a little putty around the crimp near the hook.

This particular rig is crimped at both ends using double barrelled crimps for neatness and optimum strength, a well crimped rig will be stronger than a knot.

Available in either a Curve shank hook or Crank pattern. Both are available as barbless (not crimped or modified barbed hooks) along with micro barbed, the hooks are teflon coated and anti glare. I offer this rig with a choice of either 13mm bait screw, micro ring swivel or rig ring, all of which are matt black anti glare.
