This is a vintage wooden shipping crate from 1939 (not books) with a rectangular shape and natural pine color. It features the subject of Abraham Lincoln and Carl Sandburg's "The War Years" and is part of the Abe Lincoln/Carl Sandburg collection. The crate has a nailed closure type and a natural finish. It is an original piece from the 1930s and has several stains and chips, as seen in the photos. Sold as is.
