Early 19th Century Derby Porcelain Figurine Welch Tailors Wife Riding Goat w Infant and Children in Basket 

    A very fine quality early 19th Century Derby porcelain figurine of the Welch Tailors Wife Riding a Goat.   Incised model number 62.  Measures 15.5 inches height.  Width across front is 4 inches.  Depth is 2.5 inches. 
 Charming and colorful mother riding the goat with her babe suckling at breast, and 2 older children in basket on her back.  Small kid feeding from mother goat.  There is a lovely blue floral print to the wife's skirt with golden yellow jacket.  Orange hat.  On each side of the goat there is basket filled with bread and market bottles.  
Condition is very good.  No cracks or major chips.  One small flake off front hoof of goat.   Incised number 62 on base and some other marks.  See photos.  A fine piece!
