Here is a Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, piece #502, porcelain sculpture of a roaring polar bear. This bear was designed for Royal Copenhagen by C.F. Liisberg, with a backstamp indicating it was made between 1969-1973.
It measures an impressive 13" in height, 6" in width and 5 1/2" deep. It is in excellent condition with crisp mold and lifelike features to the fur. The hand painted finish shows subtle shading and fine line throughout.
