This droid has been tested and works well. The head powers up when placed on the body of the droid. I had to find the manual to figure that one out.

The remote had some corrosion and was cleaned and works as it should. The base “ball” has some scratches and scuffs from normal use. It is difficult to tell what “yellowing” is from age and what is from the design of the droid as it was build to look aged.

The head portion has some scratches and scuffs from play. If you move bb-8 too quickly or over big bumps it can fall off.

The original ac adapter for the base is included, but the micro usb charger for the head is not the original orange usb cable.

This droid is a ton of fun, but does have a learning curve when it comes to functions.

It has remote control mode, speech mode and autonomous mode.

The large antenna is missing. The small one was pushed inside of the head when the head fell off of the droid during play. It hasn’t caused any problems, but I could not find a tool to open the head and get it out.

This is the upgraded 2017 life size model.
