This is a nice vintage 80s boombox that has a really rad era look to it. It works pretty well but has some minor issues. Overall, it’s in nice cosmetic condition. It’s mostly quite clean although there’s some dust and dirt in some of the small crevices. It has some minor scuffs. The radio plays well however the tuning selector no longer indicates the correct station. It does change stations but the indicator doesn’t move to tell you what station you’re on. The cassette tape player works . It’s not sluggish at all and it plays clearly through both speakers; however it makes a faint clicking noise as it plays sometimes ….click, click……click click. The strange thing is that it only does it on side 2 of the tape. I checked with a couple of tapes to confirm. The faint clicking did seem to improve with use. It’s a minor annoyance that can only be heard when the volume is turned down low (and on side 2 of the tape). Lastly, the tape counter doesn’t work. That is all I could find after testing this boom box for about an hour. Speakers are detachable. Tape and batteries not included.

This boombox is sold from one collector to another. The utmost care and pride goes into packing these collectibles because I understand how important it is that they arrive safe and sound.
