The Japan edition includes two bonus tracks. The
Japan extreme metal band Sai.
Its formation dates back to 90 years.
After making several demos, he signed with the now defunct Euronymous (Mayhem) Deathlike Silence Productions.
In '93, he released his debut album, Scorn Defeat.
(Unfortunately, Euronymous was murdered just before launch.)
He then signed with Cacophonus Records, who discovered Cradle of Filth and Dimme Borgil. Their third album, Hail
Horror Hail, released in '97, was selected as one of the "100 Most Important Albums of the 90s" by British Terrorist magazine. Sai
has since moved to Century Media, The End Records, Candlelight Records, and has released 11 albums.
After four years, they will release their 12th new album "Shiki".
In this first game after moving to Darkthrone's home town of Peaceville, creators, former DragonForce player Frederic Leclerc (G,B), Fear Factory, and Raven's Mike Herer (Dr) will flank Mirai Kawashima (Vo, Key, Flute, etc.).
Sai's musicality differs from album to album, but this time, featuring Japanese-style artwork after a long absence, the style also feels a return to early black metal. However, the
shakuhachi and tampura performed by Kawashima himself also jump out, and it is still full of a sense of leaving the listener behind.
With titles that have countless meanings in the Japanese, such as "Death," "Four Seasons," "Private Journal," "Shiki," and "Corpse," the entire film uses Japanese lyrics and thoroughly talks about the fear of death.
Mixed and mastered by Lasse Ramelt (Ailstorm, Lucid, etc.).
Japan edition includes two bonus tracks.
