The vampires masquerade

A 1/5 scale resin statue.

Inspired by 1970’s erotic vampire films such as The vampire lovers, Vampyres and Daughter’s of darkness to name but a few, these were the perfect starting point for my new sculpture.

The figure portrays a victim, kept prisoner by the vampires that has now been turned into one of the undead, she holds her hand near her neck feeling the blood run free, starting to grip and tear her chains off as she now joins the vampire cult.

The sculpture features an antique bronze finished chain that can be wrapped around either hand or left to hang. This works well if you need to cover the nudity aspect of the sculpture and also brings some added drama and variety to the scene.

The pale body features a highly detailed and realistic look from natural folds and buckles in the fat and muscle to complex tones of skin colour finished off with fine textures, freckles and moles etc.

The woman is very beautiful and although her face is partially covered

her eyes look especially stunning and dramatic looking through the metallic vibrant purple mask.

Finally the statue is finished with a gothic worn stone base, four corner gargoyles and a marble effect top giving the figure the perfect display.

great care is taken with packing the statue and all parts are individually wrapped for protection and the outside box is reinforced making it extra strong parcel.
