The ZO9209 is based onmodels sold in Military Post Exchanges (PX) in the United States and SoutheastAsia during the Vietnam War. American service members came to trust the buildquality and reliability of Zodiac timepieces.
The Zodiac ZO9209 is astandard three-hand dive watch with a rotating bezel. The case and bracelet arethe industry standard 316L stainless steel and comes with a screw-down caseback with 'Super Sea Wolf" engraved in an elegant script that matches thedial. The dial is a beautiful black sunburst with hints of gold. The timepiece is 40mm in diameter and 11mmthick, a 20mm lug width and 200m of water resistance. The movement is a Swiss Technology Production(STP) 3-13 automatic movement with a 44-hour power reserve. The STP3-13 is an automatic watchmovement with swanneck regulator from Swiss Technology Production. It is based on the popular ETA2824-2 and uses the same wheel architecture. STP uses a longer, thinnermainspring, boosting power reserve to 44 hours. It also includes an extra jewelon the barrel arbor. Watch ships in theoriginal box.
