Brands of Sharpening Steels
- Dexter Russell: 14" Steel length (Southbridge Mass) Probably the best condition of the four
- F. Dick: 14" Steel length (Made in Germany) (The steel is pretty smooth - not sure how well it will sharpen.
- Landers: 10" Steel length (paint loss on the grip and signs of heavy use)
- Lee's 1: 10" Steel length (Has damage to the wood grip and the collar. Signs of use and wear all over
The lengths above do not include the grip/handle. Also see photos for lengths.
- All have heavy signs of use and wear, dings, dents, scuffs damage to wood. The steels are pretty smooth but may have some sharpening life left.
