1920s Atwater Kent Radio Model 55
in a Kiel Table made with a duel function
(7-tube radio)
Made by the Kiel Furniture Company of Milwaukee to accommodate the chassis of the Atwater Kent model 55 (and 60). The Kiel Table had a duel function in that it was a piece of furniture which also held a radio. The downfacing speaker under the table and radio meant that sound quality wasn't compromised. In addition, the bottom of the rear
right leg has a male plug for an extension cord to plug into a socket.
The left rear leg has a female plug so a table lamp can be plugged
directly into the table.
31" H X 36" W X 25"
As Is
I haven't tried to plug it in.
Ask questions, please!
If
you want it shipped, I will build a crate for it for $150.00 and then
you can find a shipper for it. Contact me if this is of interest.
Local pickup is preferred. It's a bit awkward to lift by one person, I can help get it into your car.
