Up for your consideration,

This is an original shipping box made of wood. Has cool markings on one end explaining that it once held Hats Dray Pike Hats to be exact and that the hats were lined and deep brimmed. It has an old hinged lid and measures about 37" wide by 29" tall by a little over 14" across and with a one foot opening (The hinged part being about 4")

The markings on the end of the box told the brand and the sizes etc. of the hats. Box is well over 100 years old. It came from the old original Widener General Store which was Mercantile Shop ran by a Mr. John in the early 20's.  Back then they sold all manner of stuff including groceries and household supplies and tools including Hats & Wolverine Boots;

Doesn't weigh very much and a board in the back is buckled but still VERY COOL.

Could possibly be treated to make it water resistant, could be lined and made into a planter or used in many different ways. An awesome Historical Conversational piece!

37" long x. 29" tall x 14" across
