On the morning of April 14, 1927, the first Volvo vehicle rolled off the production line at the company's first factory in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Near the new millennium, Volvo sold the "Volvo Cars" line to Ford Motors, concentrating on its heavy-duty line.
In autumn 1951, Volvo introduced its largest truck, the L395 Titan, with a load capacity of up to 10 tons. The large VDF engine was replaced in 1953 by the more developed D96 engine.
The following year, the Titan became the first Volvo truck to be offered with a turbodiesel.
The emblems used by the brand had a size appropriate to its name: Titan, large and solid. These are the two badges that we offer for sale as a lot. One was located on the front edge of the hood and the other was applied directly to the radiator.
They are in good condition, considering they are more than 70 years old.
